Web / SharePoint Programmer (Programmer 3)

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid — approximately 3 days in office, 2 days remote per week)
Engagement Type: Contract (3 months)
Duration: June 10, 2026 – September 8, 2026

Our client is seeking an experienced technologist to support web and SharePoint applications. The role requires excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to interact directly with application users to elicit requirements and provide ongoing application support. This is a 3-month contract delivered in a flexible hybrid model.

Scope of Activities:

  • Support, enhance, and maintain web and SharePoint applications
  • Utilize configuration management, design, and debugging tools to create, test, and implement solutions
  • Code enhancements and develop programs and required fixes to production problems using functional and technical programming standards
  • Work with users to understand business requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Research problems before approaching the Team Lead or Functional Architect for assistance
  • Plan all required process steps and provide status of work to the Team Lead
  • Review and understand the Application Team’s workplan
  • Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and the Application Team; develop contingency plans
  • Provide excellent system documentation
  • Proactively propose changes and updates to solutions; engage in ongoing process improvement

Required Skills:

  • College degree or equivalent technical study (4-year)
  • 6+ years of experience with technical support and projects
  • Hands-on experience supporting web applications and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of configuration management, design, and debugging tools
  • Detailed functional and process knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong stakeholder engagement
  • Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills

Compliance Requirements:

  • All work must be performed within the United States. Government-owned equipment may not be removed from or used outside the U.S.
  • Candidates must be able to work onsite in Columbus, OH on hybrid schedule.
